Happy New Year everyone.
The report from my aunt who visits in the morning was that he was sleeping peacefully. His nurse reported that he had a good night.
When we visited last night he was engaged and answered all of our questions appropriately. He had some conversation with us but would not open his eyes. We think he intentionally keeps his eyes closed for some reason. He will open them wide if you ask him to.
Mom had some trouble leaving him last night. He had some wheezing but it was not in his lungs but in his throat as reported by the respiratory technician. She said his lungs sounded clear.
