The Plan

The plan is to move dad from Clarendon Memorial Hospital in Manning, SC to Tuomey in Sumter, SC in a couple of days.  The purpose of this is to get him into in-patient rehab and to get him on his feet.  Mom and dad have made the decision to move into Covenant Place so we made the down payment today.  They both will be 90 in a couple of months so it is time.

Dad has been disconnected from all IVs and drains.  He is functioning on his own.  That is major progress considering he had emergency surgery almost two weeks ago.  Today he was alert and telling jokes.  I saw improvement over yesterday.  He has been improving every day and is looking good.
