Resting

Tonight dad was peacefully resting.  We woke him up for his evening meal and fed him until he said no more.  He ate fairly well and we got him to take an entire bottle of Ensure laced with a protein supplement.  His color was good and he seemed less agitated than usual.  I tried playing some music for him but he didn't really respond as I had hoped.  They are changing the TPN formula they are giving him by IV.  I think they are trying to tweak it and we are trying to get him to take as many calories as possible by mouth.  We remain hopeful for a recovery.
